Sudoku Deluxe App Reviews

Just installed this app about 3 weeks ago and I play it every day! It is fun and has different levels of difficulty!

I like Sudoku. Most are easy but this app can really give you a challenge.

How hard is it to include an option to choose number first instead of cell first??? This is the fourth sudoku game I’ve installed looking for this option!! Sheesh.

So far I haven’t found anything wrong with it, other than the fact it’s addicting!

I like this Sudoku, but I prefer the version I play on my iPad which highlights a given number…let’s say you are looking for 2’s. It’s just a wee bit easier. But the graphics are good and this will do when I am on my computer.

Nice simple design but within a short time playing it I wanted quit, sorry that I couldnt have tried a few games before purchasing. Sudoku Deluxe just doesnt have the features I like. Examples: I dont use or like the number grid (too distracting) I like to click on the empty box fill in my number, I like the feature that when a number is touched it and all other numbers highlight in all of the grid (makes it a faster game) and another nice feature is when the last number has been used in all boxes that number will disappear in the selection (again a speed helper).

I would have preferred a save function (if there is one it is not obvious) and the for the INSANE level to be much more difficult. I thought that the UI was chosen well.

I hoped the app would automatically bookkeep annotatations (or notes). Instead, each cells annotations must be manually updated throughout the game. I can play Sudoku faster with pencil and paper. Auto-correct, hints, and timing are unimportant features to me.

Perfect. Mimics pencil and paper beautifully with number nominees positioned seamlessly. You have to manually erase negated numbers, which again contributes to its veracity!

Not only is this app. fun, it is also benificial! Work that brain of yours! Improve the old thought process! The record keeping on this game is beneficial. I am always trying to beat my old time and do that with fewer miskakes. And, did I mention that this GAME is fun? It is!!!

Plays well and quickly but would be better with an "inventory" of unplaced numbers or at least a color change when all nine have been placed.

This is a terrific app. The game has a natural feel to it. It feels like you are playing in the news paper. It is very responsive.

I can only find two: modern and old fashioned, and I don’t like either of them. On my iPad, I have a sudoko app by Finger arts. It has lots of grid designs, so you can find the least distracting one. However the feature I REALLY like, that this one does NOT have, is that when you are filling in any given number, say a 2, it highlights all the other 2’s in the puzzle that are already filled in. This helps the game go faster, without having to use the “help” button. I wouldn’t have bought this if I could have seen it ahead of time. I bought it because of the reviews, and the description, which clearly states there are “Thousands of grid designs. There are not.

My hesitation in giving this 5 stars is that some users may wish it had more than 1-9 capacity. Arent there 1-99 Sudoku boards out there? But aside from that, I cant find any fault with it. Sometimes Im amazed at the playtime one can have for a buck these days. Some applications deliver such a value, I think this one is undeniably worth its cost. The graphics, I think youd say are quite nice, I like simple things like how its got a pencil image where you select the difficulty - a cute layout. Id recommend buying it! Have fun! [Ive got a time of 4 minutes 27 seconds for the easy level and havent done beyond the normal level which my best sits at 11 minutes I guess right now]

Great game and runs very smoothly

I have tried many Sudoku games and this is by far the best. I have it on both of my computers, on both my iPads, and on my iPhone. I think it’s a good source of mental simulation. I recommend this game highly!

Nice design, easy to use. I lke the feature that allows me to creat a game. Have enjoyed it very much.
